HARVEST ALE

First introduced in 1988.
Each Fall when the hop harvest comes in, Hale's brewers personally select, by smell & feel, the hops they feel would be the most excellent  from the latest crop. Generous amounts of this "new vintage" are added to the brew, giving it extraordinarily fresh hop character. A firm malt body gives this hopfest beer a fine balance. Harvest Ale was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2007 Great American Beer Festival.

This special beer will have aficionados scratching their heads -- is it really an ale pretending to be a lager, or is it the other way around?? It's all in the taste, which is flavorful, delicate, and very refreshing -- check it out and decide for yourself!
